New York City-based acoustic prog rock duo, The Arcane Insignia, launched their long-awaited album A Violent Whisper. Led by multi-instrumentalist Lodrö Nyima and cellist Noah Heau, the album is a deeply personal reflection of Lodrö’s 20-year musical journey and a tribute to his late partner, Cynthia. Divided into two halves—"violent" and "whisper"—the album blends prog-metal intensity with delicate, acoustic ballads. Drawing influences from Tool and Opeth, A Violent Whisper breaks genre boundaries and challenges the perception of what acoustic music can achieve.
